1. Data Retention
ReportWala only retains your generated report documents (Word and PDF) for 24 hours. After this period, they are automatically deleted from our servers. We do not permanently store your generated content.
2. API Key Security
Your Google Gemini API key is transmitted securely via HTTPS. It is used strictly in-memory to communicate with the Google Gemini API to generate your report content. Your API key is never logged, stored in any database, or shared with third parties.
3. File Uploads
Reference files and project files you upload are temporarily stored to generate the report. They are deleted alongside your generated reports after 24 hours.
4. Usage Data
We may collect basic, anonymized usage metrics (such as report types generated and page counts) to improve the system's performance and stability.
